The process for getting teeth veneers in Thailand

Introduction

Getting your teeth done is a scary task for most people. They cannot imagine any procedure without pain and blood being involved. But this is a very big misconception as most dental procedures nowadays are done under a local anesthesia which will numb any pain.

Furthermore most doctors are trained to operate with minimal loss of blood and to resort to an operation only if there is no other option. Getting teeth veneers in Thailand is one such alternative. Here we will see the steps involved in the process.

The steps
Diagnosis is the first step in the process of getting porcelain veneers in Bangkok. Here the dentist will walk you through what the procedure will involve, the advantages as well as the limitations in the process and the results that are likely to be achieved.

In the next step the dentist would remove around half a millimeter of enamel off your tooth. This will be the part that is replaced by the veneer. Next he would proceed to make an impression of your teeth. This model would then be sent to a lab so that your veneers can be made.

Usually the construction of the veneer takes one to two weeks, depending upon how uniform your teeth are. After the veneer comes back you move onto the next step.

Next step is the bonding process. As the name mentions, it involves the final bonding of the veneer to the teeth. Here the dentist will fit the veneer to your teeth to check for a perfect fit and if not grind it down to allow for a better fit.

Your teeth will then be cleaned and roughed up so that the veneer sticks better. The veneer is applied with a special cement and the whole set is then put on your teeth. After this the dentist would apply a special light on your teeth.

This is to activate the cement, which starts to cure and bond. Your dentist would mostly ask you to come back after a few weeks to check on how the veneer is holding up. The Thailand dental veneers costing would depend upon the type of veneer selected and the condition of your teeth.
